About Us
JTC, Inc. was founded in 1968 by John Turner. Mr. Turner was born in London, England. After WWII John entered a trade school as a young man and trained as a Journeymen painter in London. Mr. Turner immigrated to the United States and worked his way up to regional manager for what was then one of the largest painting contractors in the country. In 1968 he founded John Turner Contracting in Albuquerque, NM. He grew the company into the largest and most respected painting company in New Mexico. Mr. Turner retired in 1996.
The company was passed on to Neal Meisner as Owner/President and Dean Ford as Vice President. The company has steadily transformed itself into a very diverse coatings company that is unmatched in their region. In 2001 Dean became half owner. Neal retired from daily activities in 2011 and currently functions as a consultant. JTC, Inc. is now owned by Dean Ford and David Montoya. Dean is the majority owner and President; David is the Vice President. The company has forged strong relationships with some of New Mexico’s largest private industries.
JTC operates in various coating-related markets. Their primary focus is industrial coatings, flooring and containment linings, commercial architectural painting, and in-shop blasting and coatings. JTC, Inc. prides itself on employee involvement in safety and quality. Throughout their long history, they have forged long term relationships by delivering innovation, reliability, and value for their customers.
We have multiple NACE® certified coating inspectors, including a NACE level 3 with added Nuclear Power Plant Certifications. JTC, Inc. has performed thousands of hours of work under NQA-1 compliance.
